- The Commissioner issues rates every October 1 for public works bid or awarded October 1 through September 30, and issues amendments when union rates change before then; an amendment takes effect on the date given, or 10 days after issue (NAC 338.040).

There shall be an eight (8) hour break between shifts. If the employee returns to work with less than an eight (8) hour break, the applicable overtime rate applies.
