About Prevailing Wage Hub
Prevailing Wage Hub turns each state's wage determinations into one page per county and trade. In California those determinations come as 58 county tables plus more than a hundred regional PDFs, where a carpenter's rate in Fresno sits under "Area 4" in a locality list. Illinois posts 102 county PDFs several times a year, and Washington's rates sit behind a lookup form. We do that reading once, check it, and publish the result with the source linked next to it.
The site is independent. It isn't run by any state labor agency, a union, a contractor or a payroll company, and no one pays to be listed or ranked. We have no paid relationships with any vendor today. If that changes, pages with a paid link will say so where the link is.
The site covers 55 states: Alabama, Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Each was added once its agency's data could be checked row by row, from DIR's determinations and IDOL's county PDFs to Connecticut's town schedules and New York's job descriptions. More states will follow when their data can be checked the same way.
