On Nevada public works in each of these 13 counties, a boilermaker must be paid at least $79.07 an hour. Labor Commissioner prints one rate with fringe benefits included, so there is no separate base wage.

One rate, fringe benefits included: $79.07
Labor Commissioner publishes a single hourly figure that already includes fringe benefits. A contractor can pay it all as wages, or pay part as contributions to bona fide benefit plans for the worker, as long as the two add up to at least $79.07. Labor Commissioner doesn't publish a base and fringe split, so this page doesn't invent one.
When does this rate change?
- On a bid contract, the rates in effect when bids are opened apply for the contract, or 36 months, whichever is earlier (NRS 338.030(9)–(10)). An amendment applies to projects bid after it takes effect (NAC 338.050).
- The Commissioner issues rates every October 1 for public works bid or awarded October 1 through September 30, and issues amendments when union rates change before then; an amendment takes effect on the date given, or 10 days after issue (NAC 338.040).
Davis-Bacon boilermaker rates in these counties
The counties share Labor Commissioner's rates, but not always the same federal wage determination. When a contract requires both the state rate and the Davis-Bacon rate, paying the higher of the two meets both. The contract documents say which apply.
