Cement Mason prevailing wage, Carson City group, Nevada (12 counties)

$60.92an hour, fringe benefits included

One rate, fringe benefits included (Labor Commissioner prints no split) · Union rate · Amendment 01, effective 2026-10-13

On Nevada public works in each of these 12 counties, a cement mason must be paid at least $60.92 an hour. Labor Commissioner prints one rate with fringe benefits included, so there is no separate base wage.

Labor Commissioner 2026-2027 rates (Oct 1, 2026), effective October 1, 2026. On a bid contract, the rates in effect when bids are opened apply until the contract ends or for 36 months (NRS 338.030(9)). Checked against labor.nv.gov on October 25, 2026.

Labor Commissioner lists 3 cement mason rates for each of these counties, from $60.92 to $67.42 an hour. See all of them.

One rate, fringe benefits included: $60.92

Labor Commissioner publishes a single hourly figure that already includes fringe benefits. A contractor can pay it all as wages, or pay part as contributions to bona fide benefit plans for the worker, as long as the two add up to at least $60.92. Labor Commissioner doesn't publish a base and fringe split, so this page doesn't invent one.

Zone pay on top of this rate: Zone 2 (76 to 150 miles) +$6.00; Zone 3 (151 to 300 miles) +$7.00; Zone 4 (Over 300 miles) +$8.00

Davis-Bacon cement mason rates in these counties

The counties share Labor Commissioner's rates, but not always the same federal wage determination. When a contract requires both the state rate and the Davis-Bacon rate, paying the higher of the two meets both. The contract documents say which apply.
