Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates in Berkshire County, Massachusetts

4 Davis-Bacon wage determinations cover Berkshire County for building, residential, highway and heavy construction, with 164 rates across 30 trades. Of each trade's main rate, commercial diver is the highest at $113.58 an hour and teamster the lowest at $48.53, base plus fringe.

The Department of Labor modifies these determinations on SAM.gov in weekly batches through the year; the latest Massachusetts modification we hold is dated August 6, 2026. A contract keeps the wage determination in its bid documents. Modifications published before bid opening apply to it, though one published less than 10 days before can be left out if the agency finds there isn't time to tell bidders (29 CFR 1.6(c)). Checked against sam.gov on October 25, 2026.

Massachusetts also sets its own rates; on jobs covered by both, pay the higher. The Department of Labor Standards issues them per project, by wage request number, and they must be re-requested after 90 days (M.G.L. c. 149 ss. 26-27), so there is no county schedule to show here.
