When this rate changes
- On a bid contract, the rates in effect when bids are opened apply for the contract, or 36 months, whichever is earlier (NRS 338.030(9)–(10)). An amendment applies to projects bid after it takes effect (NAC 338.050).
- The Commissioner issues rates every October 1 for public works bid or awarded October 1 through September 30, and issues amendments when union rates change before then; an amendment takes effect on the date given, or 10 days after issue (NAC 338.040).

- * *Shift work shall not be permitted except in cases where at least two (2) shifts per day are established for at least five (5) or more consecutive days including Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday when worked.
- * *All recognized holidays are paid holidays. Holidays falling on Saturday shall be observed on the previous Friday. Holidays falling on Sunday shall be observed on the following Monday.
